Handmade wood type and box.
Wood type- laser cut end grain maple.
Box-100 yr old cherry with hand cut dovetails.
Belly band- blind deboss on 140lb canford stock.

Wood type was created by first milling down a 7 foot long board of maple to type high. The wood was then cross cut into smaller pieces and etched on an accuris laser cutter. The type was then cut into blocks and shellacked. The blocks are 12 line (144pt) FF DIN medium.
